Hi, my name is Mary Milliken. I am trying to aid my sister Teresa in her search for her birth father. Her name is Teresa Lynn(last name we assume is Ward).Thomas Ward of Thomasville, N.C.is listed as her father. Our mother Beulah Amburgey married James shehan Walters when Teresa was 3 years old and somehow she took the name Walters. Beulah lived in Isom, Ky and was the daughter of Blain and Ida mae Amburgey. James was from Salyersville Ky. A family member told Teresa that Thomas met Beulah in a cafe in Isom ky, when his company came to town. They dated and we assume she became pregnant. His company then moved to Thomasville, N.C. She went with him to N.C and stayed in a motel. Her 2 brothers soon found out where she was and made their way to N.C. and took her back to Isom Ky. From what i understand, Our mother gave birth to Teresa in Isom.
Somehow(it is unclear) they made their way to Springfield, Ohio... That is when the story ends. While in Springfield, Beulah met and married my father James Shehan Walters. Now my sister remembers a picture of mother, herself and a man sitting on a bench abd it reads.... Thomas Ward 10-8-51(This is my sister's birthday). My sister would just like to know her birth father. She has alot of health problems, so time is essential. Even is he has passed, she would still like some info on him and relatives.
