I am looking for info on the following.
according to some records which may be a census of 1900
there is
M.F. Montgomery Born Mo , Merchant
Jennie Born Ia
Harold ( their son )
Agnes Spencer sister in law Born IA schoool teacher
M F is my great grandfather. i have seen his name as the following - Maries, Mairies, Maris. I do not know what is correct. It states he is a merchant so did he have a store there in WHeatland, Laramie Co and the Agnes Spencer is Jennie's ( my great grandmothers sister) Since she was a school teacher does anyone know what school she taught at and is there a picture of her somewhere with the kids she would of been teaching?
I am pretty stuck on M F Montgomery and can not seem to go back further than him. I do know from his death certificate that his fathers name is John and mother name was Elizabeth. I also know that M F was born in Nodaway county Maryville Missouri in 1856 or 1857.
the Harold that is mentioned is my grandfathers brother. My grandfather came later and was also born in Colorado in 1904.
I would appreciate any help and info on the above
