Frank Bernerd Yachik was my Great Grandfather's nephew. Frank was born April 27, 1886 in Cedar Rapids, Linn County, Iowa to Lewis Yachik and wife Anella nee Date. Frank and wife Lillian Yachik nee Date were married in Cedar Rapids, Linn County, Iowa on June 1, 1908. Frank was an Engineer for the Milwaukee Railroad for 30 years. He passed away in Savanna, Carroll County, Illinois on December 20, 1977 at the age of 91. This info. comes from the funeral home in Savanna, Illinois that buried him. Any corrections welcomed and would love to correspond with any of Frank and Lillian's descendents as we would be cousins!
