I have a Joseph Yacklin/Yaklin born August 1842 in Austria or Germany naturalized in the US , Christina ? who was born Dec 1869 in Ohio. They were either divorced or something happened to Joseph as the three children ended up in orphanages. Child : Mary Magdalena Yacklin born Apr 1895 in Ohio ( probably Putnam or Ottawa Co) lived as a nun until her death in Dayton, Ohio area. Child: Henry Yacklin born Mar 1897 same location lived in Orphanage in Louisville, Stark County, Ohio and lived as an adult in the Cleveland area where he died. Child: Anthony Yacklin Sr born 2 Sep 1899 same location and lived in orphanage in Louisville, Ohio with brother Henry. Anthony died in Stark County, Ohio on 2 Feb 1966. Anthony was married to Lula Mae Stout of Marietta, Washington Co., OH. They married in Akron, Ohio in 1928 and had several children.
Does anyone know anything about other Yacklins in Ohio as I would like to find out more about Joseph.
