Joseph Hunter (1848-1913) and Ester B. (1859-1934) Yadon were my Great Grandparents. They are buried in the Slate Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in London (Laurel County), KY. I have photos of their headstones if anyone would like them, email me.
Many people do not know that Joseph and Ester's youngest duaghter Mary Bell Yaden (Yes, the spelling of the name changed in this generation from Yadon to Yaden), my Great Aunt born February 16, 1899, had a twin sister who died at birth on that date! Mary Bell Yadon died June 25, 1977.
My Grandfather was Rufus Madison Yaden, who was Joseph and Ester's third child, born August 13, 1888, died March 14, 1958. R.M., as he was known, married Ada Marie Jones, who was born November 27, 1897, and died September 17, 1972. They had four children, my fater Rufus Morris Yaden being the third child born August 27, 1927, died January 14, 1995. He married Dortha Lynn McCarty, born September 15, 1928, who is still living.
