Fran: I have a self-published pamphlet entitled: "The Yadon Family Book" by Frank Pierce, 1973. It has several typo errors but lists the following about John Nelson Yadon:
JOHN NELSON YADON (JOSEPH PRESTON, JOSEPH PRESTON, JACOB) was born May 03, 1823 in Grainger county, Tennessee (now Union County), and died August 23, 1903. He married SALENA CONDRY March 28, 1841. She was born October 08, 1820 in Grainger county, Tennessee (now Union County), and died October 11, 1890 in Union County, Tennessee.

Mr. Pierce tried to locate all of the known descendants of Joseph Preston Yadon I and Mary Susannah Pennebaker for their inclusion at the time of publication. He noted some descendants from family papers when no descendants could be located.
The marriage of John Nelson Yadon and Salina Condry is also noted in the Yadon Family Bible that belonged to Joseph Preston Yadon I (c. 1800). That is all the 'official documentation' that I have.
