A fatal accident occurred last Wednesday to Mr. Jake Yeager (sic), who was trying to lower a pump into a well. While standing up high on a wagon he lost his balance and fell on his head. However, he did not seem seriously hurt at first, but died Sunday nooon. He leaves a young wife as he was only married three weeks ago. A sister arrived here Monday to attend the funeral. [He] Will be buried Tuesday in Pingree.
