Sandy, we seem to share a common ancestor. Margaret Elizabeth Yagel was indeed born in 1866, according to my research, the third child (oldest daughter) of my great-great grandfather John Yagel (though he may have changed the spelling from Yagle or Yeagle, not sure) and his wife Tilara (or Tulara) Bergenstock. I found Margaret was born on Aug 20, 1866 and appears to have died at age 70. Other than confirming your info that she married John Saxton, I have nothing more on her. My information is from the 1880 Census of Northumberland County. She was 13 at the time of the census. The rest of the family info I have won't fit in this space but if you desire the rest I have on the Yagels, send me an e-mail and I'll give you the rest of the fanily history. Total of 9 children, 3 girls and 6 boys. My great-grandfather Clinton C. Y was the oldest, born 3/24/1861 and Melinda Marsh Y,the youngest, was born after the census in 3/1985. John, Tilara and at least two of the children are buried on the same plot in the Watsontown (Northumberland Co.) cemetery. The Yagel name is spelled three different ways on the tombstones: Yeagle, Yagle and Yagel.
