Valentine Yager b. Oct. 10, 1845 in Perth County, Ont. was the first-born son of Conrad & Maria (Wilkes) Yager. Conrad had arrived from Hessen, Germany in 1842. Other children were John, Gideon (Gedeon), Mary, Henry, William & Elizabeth. If you have any information on the descendents of this Yager family I'd love to share the information I have with you. The spouses' surnames that I know were Ratz, Cairns, Wing and Cunningham. Valentine of Shakespeare, Ont. was my great-grandfather. He died in 1920 and is buried in the Lingelbach Cemetery.
