This Joseph was the son of John (Of Piney Woods)b. 1750 who was the son of Michael b.1728 who was the son of Adam b. 1707 who was the son of Nicholas who brought him to VA in 1717 along with the other second colony GERMANNA immigrants. There is a wealth of information on this family on-line. Michael b. 1728 was my ancestor's, John (Blind) Yager, brother. All of the foregoing is from "The Germanna Record" Number 10.
I do have some other descendant information if you can tell me how you descend from Joseph and Sarah(Cheek)CHICK..supposed to be the daughter of James CHICK.
