Hello,
I am looking for info on this family which were living in Yalobusha-Granada Co, Ms.
ELIJAH & SARAH "JANE" were the parents.
I believe that they had about 9 children and also took in several others of the "POLK FAMILY' thought to be orphans.
I am related to these Polk children.

The eldest was DANIEL POLK B. ABT. 1847
AMERICA AKA MARY E. POLK B. ABT. 1850-54
JOHN POLK B. ABT. 1854-59
HILSTON/WILSON POLK B. ABT. 1855-60
America Polk is my GrGrandmother.

Please contact me if you have ANY KNOWLEDGE of these Polk children.
