I'm looking for any Yagers born in Sertig Valley, near Davos, Switzerland. My gg-grandfather, George Yager, was born Switzerland 1783, married Elizabeth Valar. Son Peter Yager emigrated to the U.S. in the early 1850s, to the Calif. Gold Rush, and he and wife settled nearby, in Ione, CA.
Are there any Yagers out there in Ione or Amador County? I'm looking for you.
