Laban YAGER was my ggg grandmother's brother. They were among the 10 children of John W. YAGER of Madison, VA. who was married to a WILHOIT and the grandchildren of "Blind John" YAGER who was also married to a WILHOIT and following that back you have numerous other ancestors in the GERMANNA COLONIES. Go to: http://www.germanna.org/ and http://www.germanna.net Probably the reason that you don't have alot on Laban is that he was married three times and your Jane was from his marriage to Sarah CARPENTER. One of my favorite YAGER cousins also descends from him and she is of the opinion that he was a real "bad boy" to say the least.
