Is there any chance there was a relative named Sylvester Yahn who arrived in the States in about 1869 with wife, Elizabeth, and daughter Mary Elizabeth (Lizzie), and son Adelbert? This family ended up homesteading in Colorado in 1889, but we can't fnd them for their first 20 years in the US. He lists coal miner as an occupation in 1890 census. Any help in PA?
       Thanks, Betty
