I am researching my granddaughter's paternal ancestry which involves the Yahn family. Just starting on this, so don't have too much. Her ancestor was your George Yahn's sister, Sarah Marie Yahn who married Ezekiel Frank Wood on 3 Nov. 1879 in Dodge Co., MN. All I know is from her obituary ... she was the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. George Yahn. In 1920 Sarah was widowed and living in Sioux Falls, Minnehaha Co., SD. The Federal Census of 1920 indicates she was born in WI (her obituary says Dodge Center, MN) and her parents were both born in Germany.
