Carol -
I am not sure my reply got through, so will do it again.
I would like more info on you g gmother, parents, g parents, dates and places or whatever you have..
I am quite sure there is connection, for all Bensinks/Bentsinks are related coming from Holland, Gelderland province...The very south western corner of Gelderland, where the province went back and forth in 1700`s under Germany and Holland.
The name Christena would indicate she was dtr of a Christaan for that was how it worked.
The name Collins may be common, but my wife`s maiden name was Collins...From Otsego area of NYS. Have some data on that name, but not much as yet..
Hope to hear from you...I have Bentsink data going back to early 1600`s. Many, many names, dates and places...Will share with pleasure.
Thanks for your reply...My Email- Best Irwin
