My great grandfather was William Gottlieb Yackle from Germany, who married Catherine Meede there. They immigrated to America about 1885 mor or less. They may have come from the state of Wurtemburg (sp?) or the city of Wittenburg (sp?). I wish I knew more, especially if they were Jewish.
