I too spent many hours with a professional translator at the FHC reading this same record and found 8 brothers and sisters to Benedict Juchli. They were Anna b. 6 Nov 1691, Hans b. 29 Apr 1694, Christina b. 14 Jul 1699, Hans Rudolph b. 7 Feb 1697, Christina 6 Nov 1707, Catarina 15 Jan 1711, Benedict 26 Jan 1798, Catarina 15 Jan 1711, Hans 16 Jan 1707. Their parents were Hans Juchli and Christina Kunklen. We did not find a record of Benedicts marriage. I think Benedict may have joined the Church of the Brethren before coming to America as a record of the Ephrata Cloister states he was converted in Switzerland. Therefore there would be no record in this parrish of his marriage. However, we need to go over the records again. I have page numbers for these children. The Deepen book is not the only book to tie Benedict there is also a Stonebraker record which gives some good evidence. Benedict was on the same ship as Christian Deepen and was from exactly the same area. I saw the Deppen name many times in the parish record but did not go into details-need to do more research. I have page numbers for these children if anyone is interested. We found some other Juchli families but did not tie them in yet.
