My 3rd ggrandfather was Christian Yeakel born about 1770 possibly in Maryland (I get this from a census reading), although he moved to Va to marry Susannah Rudenheifer in 1796.

Christian and Susannah had eight children (from 1810-20 census) in Rockingham Co., VA. among them, Christian born 1811, and Catherine, born about 1800.
