Mary's mother sent this to her.

Hi Peggy!
My mom found this obit in the Hazleton Standard Speaker. I believe he is one
of yours. I don't know if you have his obit, so I will send it you. Also if
you want a hard copy I will be willing to send you one.

Nicholas Yalch
Nicholas Yalch, 920 Pine St., Freeland, died Tuesday at the Boone(?) Nursing
Home, Eyers Grove, following a brief illiness.
Born in Tresckow, he was a son of the late John and Mary(Fedorshin) Yalch
and had resided in New Jersey for 40 years prior to locating in Freeland
seven years ago.
He was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Freeland.
A retired coal miner, he was employed by the Jeddo-Highland Coal Co. and was
last employed as a chemical operator by the Givandan Corp. in New Jersey.
He was preceded in death by brothers, John and Henry, and sisters, Mrs. Mary
Zerlock and Mrs. helen Yenchan.
Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Yanchko; son, John, Passaic, N.J.,
brother Michael, Elysburg, sisters, Mrs. Anna Kupcho, Linden N.J.; Mrs.
Jacob ( Veronica) Dando, Freeland, and several nieces and nephews.
Funderal services will be held at 8:30 a.m. from the McNulty Funeral Home,
407 Centre St., Freeland, with a requiem high mass at 9 o'clock in St.
Mary's Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Donations may be made to St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church building fund.
