Bill,
My grandfather Stefan, came from Austria. He also worked the coal mines. They settled in Strawn, Texas. He had several brothers that scattered accross the US. One brother lived in the Detroit area and spelled the name Yatch.
Are you related to Dottie Kosmowski? I know she is from Pa., but lives in Colorado. We are not directly related.
