I hope this info might lead you somewhere. I found that I, too, am a descendant to the same line as Justin Maitland (shown farther down on the inquiry list). Starting with Thos Yale (known as Capt Thos Yale) who was married to Rebecca Gibbards. They had 8 children. While Mr. Maitland descended from son, Theophillus, I descended from son, John. John married Sarah Payne and had 11 children (wow). Child Nathaniel married Abigail Pratt. Their son, Elijah married Lucy Merrick. They begot Noah who married EmilyWarner and they had 5 sons. One son, Lucius, was my grandfather BUT they also had a son named Fred Lincoln Yale who was born on Feb 27th, 1876 in Austin Wisc. I thought perhaps he could be a great, great grandfather of yours. Unfortunately, I didn't persue the families of my grandfathers brothers. If you feel this perhaps could be a connection I can send names of other siblings. Good luck
