Aaron Jr had 2 older brothers, Fredrick Chambers Yale (b. 12/29/1857 in Eire. PA) and James HAvey Yale (b. 2/19/1859 in Erie). Aaron, Jr was born in Erie also.
He lived in Whittier, CA and was married 1/26/1886 to Laura A. Mills, who was born 3/7/1863 at Jersey City, NJ. He was a Walnut Grower. Earlier in his life he was a wall paper merchant in New York City and Newark, NJ.
I have 12 children listed, but 5 died within two weeks of each other in the spring of 1894 (was there an epidemic then? Fire?) Here's what I have:
Helen Edna b.11/10/1886 in Brooklyn, NY- married John P. Moore (b. 6/23/1885)of Whittier, CA on 12/20/1906. He was a fruit grower.
Mary Georgia b. 4/30/1888 in Newark, NJ d. 3/23/1894
Edna and Laura (twins) b. 6/21/1889 in Newark, both died on 3/25/1894
Mauguerite b. 7/26/1890 in Newark, d. 3/26/1894
Hazel b. 5/14/1892 in Newark, d. 4/8/1894
Leon Edward b. 7/15/1894 in Newark, moved to Whitter, CA.
Mildred Perkins b. 1/28/1896 in Newark, moved to Wihtter, CA
Aaron Edward b. 7/13/1897 in Newark, moved to CA
John Wesley b. 8/15/1898 in Newark, moved to CA
Eugene Hollister (twin to below) b. 3/20/1901 in Newark, d. 8/14/1901
Twin (no name given) b. 3/20/1901 in Newark, d.3/20/1901
This is a s much as I have on this line from the 1908 edition of "The Yales and Wales." I do not have the 1980 reprint available right now to see if there is more. Any additional information that you'd like to have shared on my website would be greatly appreciated. Please don't send any information on living people that you don't want displayed though.
