A William Yallop married Frances Halliday at Mundham on 25 December 1846. Both were shown as being of "Full Age". William was the son of Charles Yallop and Frances the daughter of William Halliday. Witnesses were John Garrett and Jane Halliday.
The Mundham registers show the following baptisms for their children:
31/10/1847 - Robert
04/08/1850 - Bertha
12/09/1852 - William
23/09/1855 - George
31/08/1856 - Susannah Ellen
27/02/1859 - George Herbert
27/02/1859 - Betsey Jane
15/11/1863 - Eliza Ann
03/06/1866 - Walter
Frances died at Seething on 7/7/1902 and was buried at Mundham on 12/7/1902 aged 79 (=born c.1823) and William died at Seething on 4/2/1909 and was buried at Mundham on 21/01/1909 aged 91 (=born c.1817). There is a conflict here between the date of death on the gravestone and the burial date in the church register!
William Yallop was the eldest son of Charles Yallop and Mary Payne and was baptised at Kirstead Parish Church on 09/11/1817. Charles and Mary were married at Kirsted on 25/12/1816.
My wife is descended from Charles Yallop, the illegitimate son of Frances Yallop who was the sister of William Yallop and daughter of Charles Yallop and Mary Payne.
I would be grateful for any information on the descendants of William Yallop and Frances Halliday.
