As you may know there were several Marshal and Marshall Yanceys in the state of Georgia. I am not actually researching the family but for a favor to a friend I am looking to see if I can help him contact some of the family who is doing the research.
In 1900 there was two Marshall Yanceys in Fulton County, Georgia (Atlanta) and in a earlier census I have found several who also were from Virginia.

Marshall Yancey born Apr.24, 1870 died in Walton County, Georgia Sept.8, 1951.
His wife was Susie V.(?) born Dec.8,1868-d.July 23,1934
This may be an off shoot of your line or may but I thought I would give you the info. anyway.
