San Francisco de Borja is located 60 miles S.W. of Chihuahua. Rosendo Enrique Yanez was born there in 1890 to Jose Onofre Yanez and Gonzala Madrid Rubio. I know he had at least one brother, Roberto. There may have been other brothers and sisters as well. In 1910 he married Maria Mercedes de la Torre. She was born in 1892 in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, Mex. Her parents were Juan de la Torre and Amalia Tallabas. I am aware that she had at least one sister. Don Rosendo and Donna Maria Mercedes migrated to the USA in 1910. They crossed the border into El Paso, Texas via the El Paso Electric Railway. They resided in El Paso for a time. He worked as a Hardware clerk for what was then Zork Hardware Co. They had four children. Amelia born 1910, Carlos (my Father) born in 1911, David born in 1912, and Rosendo born in 1913. I would appreciate hearing from you if you can associate yourself with any of these names.
