I think we will related in Rockingham County. My family came from Michael Yankey who had a son Jacob. I do not believe that is the proper Jaocb. Michael Yankey had a brother, Jacob, Sr. who married Mary Sturm and moved to Kentucky. This is your line I believe. Contact me at baker9@cox.net. My family was in Missouri for some time as other family members were already there. I believe that your family was there. I do have considerable Yankey/Yankee information. I have information that Jacob,Jr. and Ruth were in Flat Creek Township, Pettis County, Missouri in 1840. I do not have much about your family line so would like to share.
