Mary,
I have just received information on my father's family, he passed away on 6/3/03 and I have just found a contact in his family to fill in all the gaps for me as I was not raised by my father. My father was Norman Gail Welch, son of Arvil Gayle Welch who was the son of Edward Wesley Welch who was the son of Stephen Edward Welch and Elizabeth Ann Yankey/Yankee. The information I have shows that Elizabeth Ann Yankey/Yankee Welch is buried in Paul's Valley Okalhoma. My father passed away in Wynnewood Oklahoma, while taking care of his burial I discovered from towns people that there were many Welch's (related to my father) that lived in that area. This was a big shock for me because I believed that all of my family originated in Texas.
I would be very greatful if you have any additional information to share.
Thanks,
Norman D Welch Sr.
