William Frederick(sp) Yankee was born in Jackson County, Mo, according the Leonard Yankee's daughter. His father was also named William. William F and Ernest were both undertakers, maybe in both LaMonte and Sediala, Mo. Ernest was a 32nd degree Mason, The Scottish Order which he received in Scotland, and belonged to the St. Louis Shrine. The 1930 census for Kansas City, Mo. shows Ernest as a cab driver and Roddy (Malone) was listed without a different last name and as a son, Mother and Uncle Bill were all listed. Good luck, you seem very good, if ever possible, I would love to read your research on the families. Becky
