Hello, I have a Jasper that had a twin brother named Thompson. The dob was 6-10-1847 and died 5-31-1920. They are on the 1850 census of Washington Co., Tn. as the children of William Yarber born in NC. William Dawson Yarber is the sonof Shem Yarbrough (aka) Shem Yarborough and Yarber. Shem was born 1775 in NC and married Elizabeth Helms 1794. I have also found them in Mecklenberg co. NC.
I would nearly bet that we connect at some point and time. Some of these went to Ark.
