My name is Charles Hill Yarborough, III, formerly of Louisburg. I'm 31, and living in Texas presently. My father is Charles H. Yarborough, Jr., who served in some capacity with YNHGA 2 decades ago. Both he and I were present (I was a child) at the dedication of Old Richard's memorial in Virginia. Some may remember him as an avid geneaologist. At 74, age has caught up with his memory and cognitive abilities, etc. I recall his having traced our Louisburg Yarborough line right up to Old Richard, showing it to me on paper. I believe I could be a good candidate for the DNA study at some future time. The soonest I could find and provide the aforementioned paper(s) would be at Christmas of this year, when I am next in NC. I have printed out the membership application to the quarterly, and at some future time I look forward to sharing some of my father's collection of old Yarborough photographs and documents. He collected the quarterly from it's beginnings in the '70s up to recently. Being past my college days, etc., and having settled down, I look forward to involving myself with YNHGA. I've inherited my father's interest in the subject - along with his yellow teeth! (just joking). Thanks, -CHY III Notify Administrator about this message?
