Hi Sue: We haven't corresponded for awhile and it looks like we need to do some catch-up as it appears you have found some new records I do not have and I think I may have some that you may not. Hurriedly, in looking at the records I have, it looks like the parents of Joseph Campbell Yarbrough may have been Jeremiah Yarbrough and his wife Sarah "Sallie" Campbell. There is an 1804 Suit in chancery (Caroline Co., VA). Joseph Campbell died intestate and Matthew Campbell was the administrator of the estate. Among the parties named in the suit were Jeremiah Yarbrough and Sally Yarbrough his wife formerly Sally Campbell. I have the 1784 Caroline Co., VA will of Henry Yarbrough. He names his wife, Sarah, and among his children named is son Jeremiah. I also have the 1769 Will of James Dismukes wherein he names daughter Mary, wife of James Yarbrough and daughter Sarah, wife of Henry Yarbrough. Loosely, it looks like Henry & Sarah (Dismukes) were the parents of Jeremiah Yarbrough, and Jeremiah and Sarah (Campbell) were the parents of Joseph Campbell Yarbrough -- who was the father of Jeremiah William. Does this match what you've found? Karen Mazock
