Hi,
I am interested in finding information on a family that had a child on December 8, 1943 and put her up for adoption. We are interested in doing geneology research on the family. This is what we know:
We know that she was born as Donna Rose Yarborough she was born on December 8, 1943 in Memphis TN. She was adopted by a family in California within days of her birth. Any information about her would be greatly appreciated.
There was a story on the televison show called Unsolved Mysteries back around 1990 that was dealing with a Christian Adoption home that was kidnapping children from the local area and then sending them by train to be adopted in California and New York. We have no idea is she was one of these children or if her biological parents did put her up for adoption.
In any case we would like to find out her who biological parents were so we can do the family history reseach.
If we do find them and they do not want to have any contact with us that is fine we mainly would like the information to put into our family history book. But if they do want to contact us that is great as well.
You are probably wondering who I am. Well I am the daughter-in-law of the child and am the one doing the research. If anyone has any information on this family I would love to hear from you.
