I have recently discovered my Lithuanian - Russian families! I, too, am researching "Yarmal,Yarmel." It may help you to use different spellings. A Lithuanian friend of mine (born in the USA) said the spelling "Yarmal" was not Lithuanian, and the name needed to be longer; it should have a longer ending.
I am now using spellings, Yarmola, Yarmolowicz, Yarmolowich, etc. I had difficulties when a husband died named "Yarmola," and his wife predeceased him under the name "Yarmolowicz!" I now have their Death Certificates!
My Yarmal/Yarmolowicz family married into the Petrauskas/Petrantis/Petrasky/etc., family. I am having progress, albeit very slowly.
You may want to join the Lithuanian Global Genealogical Society (LGGS).
I have seen your Adam and George Yarmal. My Great grandfather was George Yarmal...whom I am searching for.
