Hi List, just checking out the postings and thought I would help some of you with the Yarnall family history by Gilbert Cope in his book Chester CO. PA with Genealogical and Biographical Sketches 1881.
This is the man responsible for most of the Quaker family histories that many of you desc. from. Gilbert Cope is in the Genealogy Hall of Fame in Arlington, VA.
You can solve alot of the early Yarnall family connections with his book and he has most of the Yarnall first generation families listed and with the allied families found in the Bio Sketches.
The Yarnall' are also listed in his early tax records for Chester CO PA .
Francis and Phillip Yarnall were researched by Gilbert Cope and listed on pages 778-780 in his Bio Sketches 1881.
Example 1693 Edgement twp, Chester CO PA-
1)Thomas Worrlaw- Bio/d
2)John Worolaw- aka Worrilow
3)Joseph Baker- he is bio/d by Gilbert Cope-father of Mary Baker who marr. Francis Yarnall 1717-son of Francis & Hannah Baker.
4)Philip Yarnall
5) John Holston
6)John Golden
7)Rogger Jackson
8)Joseph Baker for John Fox

1693 Springfield twp- Chester CO PA-
1) Bartholmew Coppock-bio/d
Jr.
2) Robert Taylor-bio/d
3) Bartholmew Coppock Sr.
4) George Maris Sr.-Bio/d
5) George Maris Jr.
6) Isaack Taylor- Bio/d
7) Joseph Stedman
8) Ffrances/Francis Yarnall
9)Petter Lister
10) Petter Thomas
11) Joseph Kent for henry Maddock
12) George Simcock- Bio/d
13) George Lownes

You can find most of these men have been Bio/d by Gilbert Cope in his book 1881.You will also notice that many of the men listed here wind up related to your Yarnalls.
David C. Cope
