I found your name on the internet today and am surprised to find someone who lives in Kansas City, Kansas who is not a member of the Yarnell family as I know it. The people in our family are descendants of Jasper Yarnell who bought land in Dekalb County, Missouri in 1878. There is some confusion in the family about where Jasper lived before coming to Missouri. He had three sons, Morey, Artie and Tommy. Our branch of the family are descendants of Artie. Tommy did not have any children and nothing is known about Morey. He seems to have disappeared. Do you have a copy of the book A PARTIAL GENEALOGY OF THE NAME YARNALL-YARNELL 1683-1970 by Harry H. Yarnell and Ruth Brookman Yarnell?
