Hi - Greg.
Things are still very sketchy on my VA Yarrington research. To answer some of your questions, Elizabeth Spears married Alfred Yarringon, son of Aranna(sp) in Powhatan VA on 1830. I have been able to trace them in Alabama through 1870. Elizabeth died somewhere between 1860 and 1865. Alfred remarried and died around 1875. Aranna or Arianna appears on the 1850 AL census with them and their family in 1850.

My aunt in Richmond did some research and found the following in the Library:

Eliza Duval Yarrington m.(she did't write down the grooms name!)       14 Apr 1821; Surety Jno. L. Bondurant; Teste: Jesse S. Holt
       dau of Arana Yarrington.

"Marriage Records 1949-1840 Cumberland County, Virginia"

Its possible that this Eliza is my Alfred's sister - the Arana/Arianna name appears to be fairly unusual. Does the 1821 marriage date fall into the same range as your research? The Virginia connection on my Yarrington's is proving to be somewhat elusive! I'll be interested to know what you find.
