Thank you for your message.

I will try to do more research on the Minnock name. However it is my understanding that Hays Yarrington came to Texas in 1861 with his mother and sisters. He is my great uncel. At the time of his arrival in Texas he was an adult. So that there is not a connection between his Christian name the Hays County Texas. I do not believe that he was ever a member of the Texas Rangers (a law inforcement organization) I do know that he was a member of the 8th Texas Cav. which was called Terry' Texas Rangers but this was a CSA unit. I knew of the Virginia Yarrington line prior to your commo but I do not believe that there is a connection.

I will research Arabella Duval Yarrington. More when I have it.

JHB
