William Yarrington was the son of Peter, son of the Peter I noted in Beverly , Ma.He moved to Long Island, having married Chloie (sp) Cleveland. This is recorded in the Cleveland genealogy. See also the Richardson Geneologies. Wm. was in the Revolution and his diaries can be found on the internet, probably by searching on his name, on a Long Island historical site. It sounds, from what you have said, thatWm. line may have gone to texas, as well as the Va. line. Certainly, Arebella Y. Huntington was known to have her origins in Richmond.I am not in the Wm. line, but descend from one of his brothers. I know nothing further of the Texas line, and of Arebella only by visiting the Huntington Library. My real goal is to find a link between John Yarrington (Yarranton) who came to America on the ship Rainbow in 1678, indentured to a Mr. French, in Va.and Peter in Mass. 1n 1692, or find where Peter came from.
