Woody et al,
Please see my message of a few days ago re. Wm Yarrington. As I noted the Richardson and Cleveland Geneologys have demonstrated that Peter in 1692 is the first recorded Yarrington in America and that the Wales connection is false. Abel was my ancestor, a revolutionary soldier in the Militia, and hero of the Wyoming Massacre near Wilkes Barre, Pa. Rebecca Keaser is the descendant of a very distinguished line going back to the Kings of England, France, and Scotland. There are two Yarringtons recorded coming to America in 1668 and 1678, Dorothy a transported prisoner, a spinster, and John an indentured servant to Virginia. Peter's roots are unknown, his father was probably named William, and the family came from Astley ,, but how they got here is a mystery, although via Maine-N. H. is a good bet.
