Perhaps Richard Yaw had died by 1920? My records show him married to a Betsy Dispinette, but most likely the same lady. Their son Will Yaws born abt 1815 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana, made his way to TX by 1856, his son Christopher Columbus Yaws was born in Gonzales, TX. His first 6 children were born in Louisiana so he was in Louisiana after 1849. He married Sarah Rosanna Henry in 1835. I have their children if you need them.
Colleen
