I am searching for information on the parents of Ivy Yazel/Yeazel born in OH sometime about 1824. She married about 1844 to James W. Richards born 1st May 1823, son of Josiah J. and Nancy (Powell) Richards. They were living in Logan Co. IL by 1847. Children: Abraham (Abe) Richards b. 1847 Logan Co. IL; Josiah died young 1856; Henry A. died young 1855; Arabelle b. 1861 & Sylvester b. 1866. James went to NB with his son Abe & Ellen (Gardiner) Richards and back to New Sharon, IA where he died in 1909. Ivy apparently never accompanied him to Nebraska. Her death is unknown. Any information on Ivy Yazel would be appreciated.
