Henry yazel was my great great great grandfather. He was married to a woman named Mary. They parented Walter Warder Yazel (3-16-1843-10-23-1927)who married Mary Jane Sarsseen, "Molly" (6-7-1850-3-12-1937). They parented Homer Allen Yazel (2-2-1894) who married Birdy Beulah Roach. They parented Homer Allen Yazel Jr. (2-12-1921) who married Geneva Pauline Gabbert (10-26-1922). They parented Homer Allen Yazel III who married Evelyn Jene Reed. They are my parents.
Walter and Mary had 12 children of whom I have the names, birth and death dates. They were married in Rushville, MO on 3-8-1868. Walter was a farmer. In 1877 they bought a farm (111) acres 3 miles south and 2 miles east of DeKalb, MO. In 1879 they moved to 160 acres to farm 1 mile east of Muscatoh. They lived there until fall, 1908 when they moved to Muscotah. They are both buried in Muscotah Cemetary. I have a photocopied picture of them with a son who could be Joseph Henry.
I have more information that was just passed to me by my great aunt at her death, Geneva Yazel's sister, Marjorie Gabbert. This is what I've recorded so far but there is a huge crate of info.
