Edward Rufus Yeager, b. 22 June, 1856

I am descended from Nicholaus, Adam, Adam, II, Elijah, John Redd, and am looking for more info on a brother to my
Grandfather, Robert Lee Yeager, I. The name is Edward Rufus Yeager and I have a handwritten diary (very interesting)of a 4 or 5 week trip by horses and wagon. This
odyssey was by 3 brothers, Edward Rufus (28 years old), James William (19 years old), and Robert Lee Yeager, I, (21
years old). The diary is obviously written by a man very
well educated, but I know practically nothing about him.
Can anyone please give me some information on Edward Rufus
Yeager, the oldest son of John Redd Yeager. Edward was born 22 June, 1856 in KY, VA, or MO.
His diary recounts a long trip from Palmyra, MO to Howell
County MO (Willow Springs). This diary was written in 1884. It is so well written and in the 96 pages I do not
believe there is a grammatical error or a mispelled word.
Thanks for any help,
Robert Lee Yeager, III, Grand-Nephew of Edward Rufus.
