No connection to Yeager Genealogy but compiling history of Rainetown. March 30, 1903 Rainetown: William S. Yeager, age 53 years, 10 months 13 days died after an accident at Rainetown. Yeager boarded a logging locomotive, jumped off opposite his home. He was wearing a long rubber coat which caught on cogs. He was pulled backward into cogs. "Instant death" occured. He was a "shipper." He was survived by his wife and 5 children. He was engineer on RR...born Center county, Pa. burial in Center County.

Also Rainetown news apparently not long after death of his father: William Yeager, Jr., age 16 years, born Center County, drowned at Rainetown. His father was William Yeager, Sr.
