Unfortunately the old census rolls often did not list if a person was actually of Native American heritage. Many times they were listed as "Mulatto", apparently if they were dark skinned. If they were of lighter complexion, they often were listed as "White". Found the following information for you.

Ancestry.com has posted family tree for this family however, always get your own documentation wherever possible...mistakes are rampant on posted online trees. For instance, one posted tree says that Susan Broughton Bright died in Knox County in 1865. Yet obviously she is still alive according to the 1870 census.
