If you are having trouble finding your YEAGER/YAGER on the Ancestry indexing, try putting in GEAGER/GAGER/GOGER and there they are!! The "Y" was written like a "G" by some census takers and the transcribers missed that. On many census indexes you will see this works both ways, names that should start with a "G" end up in the "Y" section for same reason. We appreciate all the hardworking transcribers.
