John Jacob Yeakley (b. abt. 1737)is my gggg-grandfather. He and his brother George (b. 1740)lived in Berks County, PA, with George moving to Northumberland County later on. It has come to my attention that some folks who claim that Benedict Youghli is their father, which is simply not true, have now gone in and changed Benedict's last name to Yeagley to try to legalize their initial error. Don't be fooled. Benedict was a Youghli, and he was not the father of John Jacob and George Yeakley.
