The Yeakley linage ( original ) is alive
and well in Berks County, Pa. Not everyone
is as fortunate as us Dappens to have their
genealogy at their fingertips ( Counting
Kindred ) however the Yeakley name is
accounted for. I have visited Riggisburg
many times, researching my Dappen ancestors.
One only realizes after entering the village
of Riggisburg ( the magnificient Vor-Alps in
all their splendor ) just how severe the
persecution must have been for our beloved
fore-fathers to have been driven away.
Their only thoughts were of us.
