I have researched the Jahraus family with a couple of other Jahraus/Yahraus researchers from the Cleveland, Ohio area. My 5g-grandfather, Georg Adam Jahraus, came from Eggenstein, Germany in 1835 & settled in Cleveland. If you have not yet researched the church records from Eggenstein, you will find a wealth of information on this family.
